Let me introduce myself.

Just Peachy Bergen is not just a beauty salon – it is my heart, my dream and a result of many years of hard work, growth and experience.

My name is Kamilla Aabø, and my journey into the beauty industry started when I was 18 years old. In October 2016, I packed my bags and traveled to Oslo with my grandmother to take my very first course in classic eyelash extensions. It was only my second time visiting the capital, and I still remember how big it felt. I was young, nervous, and full of dreams. I took the course with Trude from Blink Lash Stylist & Care – a lady I admired and learned an incredible amount from.

After the course, I returned home to Harstad and started receiving clients at home, in what was literally the mess room at home.
It was full of Christmas decorations, outerwear and old winter clothes. It wasn't luxurious, but it was real. And the customers came. I gave it my all and worked with love for the profession.

I built up a base of regular customers in both Harstad and Kvæfjord, and that gave me the motivation to learn more.

A few months later, I returned to Oslo – this time all by myself – to pursue further training in volume eyelash extensions. I invested in equipment, practiced for hours, and continued to work with clients alongside my senior year of high school. It was intense, but I loved it.

So, just three days after graduating from high school, I was on a plane to Bergen – with an apartment and a job lined up. I didn’t know what awaited me, but I knew I wanted to grow, learn, and build something bigger.

I worked in a well-established salon for over five years, and that's where I really began to shape myself as a therapist and a person. I gained many loyal clients, learned the industry in depth, and developed a clear professional identity.

Eventually, I opened my own salon with a partner – Just Peachy. The name came to me one day many years ago and stuck in my head. I loved it from the start. It was playful, feminine and full of personality. The salon grew quickly, the clients flocked, and everything felt right.

But eventually there were many changes in the plans and I decided to run this alone – in my way, with my vision, and with the certainty that it was sustainable in the long run.

That's why I made the choice to continue Just Peachy on my own – and with that came
Just Peachy Bergen.

This salon is more than a place I work – it's an extension of myself.
I have poured my soul into this. I have sacrificed time, sleep, money and energy – and I have grown with every step and have never regretted it. Because this is what I love. The most important thing to me is that the salon is doing well, that it has a good reputation, and that the customers feel cared for, safe and satisfied.

Over the years I have learned a tremendous amount, not only about treatments, but also about people, collaboration and trust. I have been burned, got back up, and become more aware of who I want to collaborate with. Today I am proud to stand alone as an owner, and look forward to choosing partners carefully.

I have many exciting plans for the future, and I look forward to developing the salon further in line with my values and vision.

Here it's not just about fixing eyelashes, eyebrows or waxing, it's about feeling safe, seen and well taken care of. When you come here, you should feel that you are in safe hands. Every customer matters. Every treatment should be worth it. And every day should feel like a new opportunity to make someone happy.
